8-week MBSR course is a secular, evidence-based program open to people of all backgrounds, and its practices are rooted in early Buddhist teachings. If you’re curious about these roots and how to apply Buddhist wisdom in everyday life, you’ll have the opportunity to explore teachings such as the Satipatthana Sutta – the Four Noble Truths, the Noble Eightfold Path, and the Five Hindrances, and discover how they can deepen and enrich your mindfulness practice.
For those who are interested in our upcoming MBSR course, please sign up for a 90-min free Information Session on August 19, 2026.
MBSR Course Dates: September 9 – October 28, 2026 at 3:00 PM-5:30 PM PT

“Surrendering to the Flow of Life: Cultivating Wisdom, Compassion, and Belonging”
Over the five days of shared silence, we will explore the ever-changing nature of life and how to meet it with wisdom and compassion. Through mindfulness, self-compassion, and reflections on impermanence, we will investigate the changing experiences of body, mind, relationships, and the world around us. Rather than resisting change, we will practice opening to it with greater ease, tenderness, and understanding. In the refuge of community, we will remember that we do not grieve, heal, or awaken alone, and that a deep sense of belonging can sustain us through times of change.
For those who are interested in a silent retreat for the first time, you might consider attending an introductory session “Touching the Still Point: A Taste of Silent Retreat” on August 26, 2026.
